Lucidity App: App Settings

The App settings allow users to view App settings, access online help and log out of the App.

To access the App settings, from the Dashboard:

  1. Tap the settings (hamburger) icon in the top left-hand corner

    1. Dashboard: to return to the App Dashboard

    2. Settings: to view App settings

      1. Build version: The version number of the App installed on the device. On Android devices the build number will also be shown

      2. Site: The site URL currently logged into

      3. Site version: The version of the Lucidity system overall

      4. Debug: When this mode is enabled additional information will be logged to help developers track down any issues that may be experienced. Please only enable this mode when requested to do so

      5. Items not saved to server: Indicates the number of items on the device that have not saved to the server. Items will be added to the queue as they are saved on the device and removed once they have been saved to the server. If any items are in the queue and the user logs out from the device, those items will not be saved.

Saved Changes

Any un-synchronised changes will be lost once logged out. It is therefore recommended to only log out of the App when in online mode.

Enabling Permissions

Some functions of the app require permissions to be enabled to components on the device. For example, taking a photo to attach to an incident report will require permission to use the camera. When the operation requiring a permission is first performed, the app will ask the user to grant the required permission.

If at any time there is a need to reverse the permission granted or denied, follow the general instructions below:

On an Android Device

  1. Open the Settings app SettingsImage Added

  2. Tap Apps or Application Manager (depending on the device, this may look different)

  3. Tap the lucidity app icon Image Added to review it

  4. Tap Permissions. If a permission is turned off, the switch next to it will be grey
    The Lucidity app requires the following permissions:

    1. Camera 

    2. Location 

    3. Storage

  5. To turn a permission on, move the switch to the right until it turns green

On an Apple Device

  1. Tap the Settings icon for the device Image Added

  2. Scroll down and locate the Lucidity App IconImage Added then tap on it

  3. The permissions are listed under Allow Lucidity to Access

  4. If a permission is turned off, the switch next to it will be grey
    The lucidity App required the following permissions:

    1. Photos

    2. Mobile Data

    3. Location

  5. To turn a permission on, move the switch to the right until it turns green
