INCIDENT ROLES

The standard roles typically provided in all new Lucidity system builds are as follows. These can be edited by system administrators as required.

To further understand the Incident module, refer to the Lucidity Incident User Guide for more details.

INCIDENT PRIVILEGES

Actions (All) - Create and Edit

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view, create and edit all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu and the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.  

Actions (All) - Delete

Allows user to delete all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu or the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu. Needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other action permissions to function.

Actions (All) - View

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view only all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu and the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Actions (My) - Create and Edit

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view, create and edit their own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu. 

Actions (My) - Delete

Allows user to delete their own actions from MY ACTIONS menu. Needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other action permissions to function.

Actions (My) - View

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows the user to view their own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Closeout Manager

Allows the user to be selected as the Closeout Manager for an Issue. The user will need the Edit Issue & Manage Issue Permissions so they can review the Issue; perform a Risk Assessment; add a comment and close the Issue. The closure of the incident will change the status from Complete to Closed.

Column Configurations

Allows the user to configure columns. Restrict access, as any change to columns impacts all users.

Create Issue (Report & Manage)

Allows user to view, create and edit their own Issue. The user will also be able to manage their own Issue. This means they can add Actions to the Issue and perform a Causal Analysis.

Create Issue (Report Only)

Allows user to view, create and edit their own Issue, but not manage the Issue. This means they will NOT be able to add Actions to the Issue or perform a Causal Analysis.

Dashboard read-only widgets user

Allows user to access their Dashboard, but they will not be able to edit, add or remove widgets. The user's dashboard(s) must be set up by the Administrator. The Administrator would temporarily apply the Widget Permission to the user; log in as that user; set up the Dashboard(s); and then remove the Widget Permission.

Dashboard Template Manager

Allows user to create, edit & delete Dashboard Templates that can be utilised by other users to create dashboards.

Dashboard Widgets User

Allows user to add Dashboards using a template or create own dashboard. View, edit and delete Dashboards and manage Dashboard content. Dashboards created by a user will not be visible or available to any other user.

Delete Issue

Allows user to delete an Issue. Need to be used in conjunction with other permissions. If used with one of the Create Issue Permissions, the user will be able to delete their own Issues. If used with either the Edit Issue Permission or the Manage Issue Permission, the user will be able to delete Issues they are scoped to.

Drug and Alcohol Manager

Allows user to view Drug and Alcohol issue types, which are hidden from all other users. Needs to be used in conjunction with other permissions. Note: Drug and Alcohol Manager Permissions feature needs to be enabled by Lucidity for this permission to appear.

Edit Issue

Allows user to edit any Issue Report the user is scoped to, but only those that have not yet been approved (has a DRAFT status). The user is able to add actions to these issues. When this permission is assigned to a user, they will automatically be assigned the Create Issue (Report & Manage) Permission.

HSE Manager

Issue Admin

Allows user to edit any Issue Report that has already been approved (that is an Issue with a Read-Only status of either APPROVED, COMPLETED or CLOSED).  In order for the permission to function, the user must also have the Edit Issue Permission assigned.  The user will not be able to add new actions or update the Causal Analysis for an Issue that has a Read-Only Status.

KPI's - Delete

KPI's are rarely used. It is advisable to use Lucidity InForm instead. Therefore this section of the user guide will not be updated.

Manage - Audits/Inspections

Adds Audits/Inspections/Reviews to Horizontal Toolbar. Allows user to view, add, edit & delete records.  

Manage  - Meetings/Others

Adds Meetings/Others to Horizontal Toolbar. Allows user to view, add, edit & delete records.  

Manage - Regulatory Notification

Adds Regulatory Notifications to Horizontal Toolbar. Allows user to view, add, edit & delete records.  

Manage Issue

Allows the user to Manage the Issues they are scoped to, this means they will be able to complete a Causal Analysis; add actions and view the Workflow. The user will not be able to see the details associated with the Issue, unless they have the Edit Issue Permission or a Create Issue Permission.

Manage Subcontractors

Adds Settings to the Horizontal Toolbar. Will allow the user to view, add, edit & delete Contractors that will be used when adding an Incident; Drug & Alcohol Incident; a Non-Conformance;

Manage Tools/Settings

Adds Settings to the Horizontal Toolbar. Will allow the user to view, add, edit & delete Managed Lists; Causal Analysis Root Causes & Contractors.

Operations Manager

Process Manager

Allows user to view Process issue types, which are hidden from all other users. Needs to be used in conjunction with other permissions. Note: Incident Process Permissions feature needs to be enabled by Lucidity for this permission to appear.

Report Emailing Administrator

Allows user to select email addresses, other than their own, for Email Reporting. A user will still be able to create Email Reports without this permission, but the reports can only be sent to their registered email address.

Reports

Allows the user to access a suite of Reports from the Issues Vertical Toolbar.

Reset Incident to Draft

Allows the user to reset an Approved, Complete or Closed Issue back to a Draft Status. Permission will  need to be assigned in conjunction with a permission that allows the user to create an issue.

Responsible Manager

Allows the user to be selected as the Responsible Manager for an Issue. The user will need the Edit Issue & Manage Issue Permissions so they can review the Issue; approve the Issue; perform a Causal Analysis; and add actions. The approval of the Issue will change the status from Draft to Approved.

Shortcut to become the Closeout Manager for an Issue

Allows user to act as the Closeout Manager for an Issue they are scoped to. ALTERNATE CLOSEOUT MANAGER button will appear next to the name of the current Closeout Manager. The user will also need the Closeout Manager; Edit Issue & Manage Issue permissions for this permission to function.

Adds Statistics to Horizontal Toolbar. Allows the user to access to the Labour Hour Report under Statistics.
