The default landing page and the primary screen within Lucidity Asset is the Asset Register page. The asset register lists all assets within the organisation.

- View assets by asset type
- View asset maintenance status
- View associated forms from Lucidity InForm for particular assets
- Add or edit assets
- Copy assets
- Archive and delete assets
- Manage maintenance tasks
Asset Type
Assets are divided into a number of asset types. Within each asset type, there are a number of linked sub-types which can be used to further filter and differentiate between assets.
All Assets are viewable from the 'All' menu, whereas individual asset types are viewable as individual registers as required.
Some examples of possible asset types and sub-types are listed below.
Asset Type | Asset Sub-Type |
---|---|
Mobile Plant | Space Craft |
Forklift | |
Trailer | |
Power Tools | Battery Drills |
Saw | |
Hot Air Guns | |
Computer and Mobile Devices | Desktop |
Laptop | |
Mobile Phone | |

Next Maintenance Status
When a due date is assigned to a maintenance task, a status colour code is applied to the due date. The colour code is the same as that used within other Lucidity Software modules, such as Lucidity Competency.
The overall asset maintenance Status is displayed on the asset register and is determined by the 'most overdue' due date of any individual maintenance task. For example, if there are two maintenance tasks open for an asset and one is due in 90 days and one is due in 5 days, the overall maintenance status will be Orange or 'Due < 1 month' to correspond to the task due in 5 days. View the Asset Maintenance page in this user guide for more details.
Maintenance Status | Colour | Description |
---|---|---|
Current | Green | All open tasks/ maintenance activities due are more than one month in the future. |
Due < 1 month | Orange | One or more open tasks/ maintenance activities are less than one month in the future, and none are overdue. |
Overdue | Red | One or more open tasks/ maintenance activities are overdue. |

Printing Asset QR Codes - Bulk
Printing of Asset labels with a QR code can be completed using data in Lucidity Asset. Many label printers are available. Each label printer will come with software which allows the design of a label (including QR code) and linking to a database, which is normally an excel spreadsheet. The process below is the steps to generate QR codes as part of a label for assets. In this example an excel spreadsheet is generated from Lucidity, which is used by the printer to generate a series of labels. QR codes can also be generated individually and printed as needed (one at a time).
To print bulk labels:
- Create an export of the required plant details to be imported into the printer application. This is normally an excel file, which can be exported from the Asset Register in Lucidity.
Ensure that a URL is included for the QR code, which would normally be one of the following:- Admin URL (links to the main page for each asset)
- Maintenance History URL ( links to the maintenance history for each asset)
- Open the printer software and follow the prompts to create the label design
- To select the database (excel) for importing, go to File > Database > Connect
- Select the database for importing
- The database will now appear along the bottom of the application
- Create the allocated label (QR in this case) by selecting the database on the task bar
- Select Merge Into Layout
- Select the Merge Type required
- Follow the prompt to select the column for input from the database
- The QR Code will appear
- Select the row for input by clicking across just above the database
- The information for the QR Code will change each time to display the unique URL
