ASSET ROLES

The standard roles typically provided in all new Lucidity system builds are as follows. These can be edited by system administrators as required.

To further understand the Asset module, refer to the Lucidity Asset User Guide for more details.

Read OnlyUsing Asset, a user can view assets and run reports

Contractor RepresentativeUsing Asset, a contractor representative can add and edit assets (scoping required to specific company)Can add and edit assets

Column ConfigurationUsing Asset, a user can configure columns displayed on screen and in reports (in conjunction with admin role)Column Configuration
Report EmailingUsing Asset, a user can configure scheduled reports on behalf of other users (in conjunction with admin role)Report Emailing Administrator

ASSET PRIVILEGES

Privileges that are associated with shared features, such as Actions, Column Configuration etc, can be found on the Shared Features Access Roles and Privileges page within this user guide.

All Asset specific privileges are listed below.

Can access the Settings menuSETTINGS added as a tab and the user will have access to modify the Asset Managed Lists.
Can add and edit assetsAllows user to view, add and edit assets and the maintenance tasks for those assets.
Can delete assetAllows the user to delete assets and delete maintenance tasks for an asset. Functions in conjunction with the Can Add and Edit Assets permission.
Can view assetsRead-only view of assets and the maintenance tasks of those assets.
Column ConfigurationAllows user to configure columns. Restrict access, as any change to columns impacts all users.
Report Emailing AdministratorAllows user to select other email addresses for Email Reporting. A user will still be able to create Email Reports without this permission, but the reports can only be sent to their registered email address.
