ASSET ROLES

The standard roles typically provided in all new Lucidity system builds are as follows. These can be edited by system administrators as required.

Role Name	Role Description	Privileges
Read Only	Using Asset, a user can view assets and run reports	Can view assets
Contractor Representative	Using Asset, a contractor representative can add and edit assets (scoping required to specific company)	Can add and edit assets
Manager	Using Asset, a user can add, edit and view assets and run reports (cannot delete)	Can add and edit assets Can view assets
Administrator	Administrator role for Asset	Can access the Settings Menu Can add and edit assets Can delete assets
Column Configuration	Using Asset, a user can configure columns displayed on screen and in reports (in conjunction with admin role)	Column Configuration
Report Emailing	Using Asset, a user can configure scheduled reports on behalf of other users (in conjunction with admin role)	Report Emailing Administrator

Privilege Name	What this Privilege Does
Can access the Settings menu	SETTINGS added as a tab and the user will have access to modify the Asset Managed Lists.
Can add and edit assets	Allows user to view, add and edit assets and the maintenance tasks for those assets.
Can delete asset	Allows the user to delete assets and delete maintenance tasks for an asset. Functions in conjunction with the Can Add and Edit Assets privilege.
Can view assets	Read-only view of assets and the maintenance tasks of those assets.
Column Configuration	Allows user to configure columns. Restrict access, as any change to columns impacts all users.
Report Emailing Administrator	Allows user to select other email addresses for Email Reporting. A user will still be able to create Email Reports without this privilege, but the reports can only be sent to their registered email address.
