HR ROLES

The standard roles typically provided in all new Lucidity system builds are as follows. These can be edited by system administrators as required.

** It is recommended the HR General User role is assigned by default to all users of the system.


HR PRIVILEGES

Privileges that are associated with shared features, such as Actions, Column Configuration etc, can be found on the Shared Features Access Roles and Privileges page within this user guide.

All HR specific privileges are listed below.

Access Card - Edit

Will make the Access Card section in users HR profile visible.

Is used in conjunction with Lucidity OnSite. Allows the user to register the access card in HR using a NFC card reader. User can also enable and disable access cards that are used to gain access to sites.  This permission needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other EDIT permissions.

Casual - DeleteAllow user to delete casuals. Needs to be used in conjunction with Casual-Edit permission or the Casual-View permission.
Casual - EditAllow user to view, add & edit casuals.  
Casual - Manage Archived except DeletionAllow user to archive and unarchive casuals. Needs to be used in conjunction with Casual-Edit permission or the Casual-View permission.
Casual - Manage except Delete and ArchiveAllow user to  view, add, edit & convert casuals.  
Casual -ViewAllow user to view all current and archived casuals.
Change LogUnder Review
Employees- DeleteAllow user to delete employees. Needs to be used in conjunction with Employee-Edit permission or the Employee-View permission.
Employees - EditAllow the user to view, add & edit employees.  
Employees - Manage Archived except DeletionAllow user to archive and unarchive employees. Needs to be used in conjunction with Employees-Edit permission or the Employees-View permission.

Employment Period - DeleteAllows the user to delete employment periods relating to their people. Needs to be used in conjunction with the Employment Periods-Manage permission.
Employment Period - ManageEmployment Periods page added to the People page menu. Allow user to view, add and edit periods of employment for their people.
Employment Review - DeleteAllow user to delete employment reviews relating to their people. Needs to be used in conjunction with the Employment Review-Manage permission.
Employment Review - ManageEmployment Reviews page added to the People page menu. Allows the user to view, add and edit reviews of their people.
Excel ReportsUnder Review
HR ReviewAllow user to view employees, casuals & subcontractors. Will also allow the user to view a list  of the employment periods, employment reviews & correspondence for any person (the user will not be able to open these records). Employment Periods, Employment Reviews & HR Records will appear on the People page menu.
Manage Own DetailsAllow user to view and edit own personal details, such as next of kin, residential address and contact details. User can also reset their own password. User will also be able to view business details such as their org structure, payroll number and their manager, but will not be able to edit this information. The user will not have access to any sensitive data.
Manage ToolsAccess to the Settings tab. Allow user to view, add, edit and delete the managed lists that are used in the HR Module.
Merge AccountsAllows the user to merge HR user profiles. Needs to be used in conjunction with edit or view permissions.
People - DeleteWill allow the user to delete employees, casuals & subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with People-Edit permission or the People-View permission.
People - EditAllow user to view, add & edit employees, casuals & subcontractors.  
People - Manage ArchivedAllow user to archive and unarchive employees, casuals & subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with People-Edit permission or the People-View permission.
People - Manage except Delete and ArchiveAllow user to  view, add, edit & convert employees, casuals & subcontractors.  
People - ViewAllow user to view all current and archived employees, casuals & subcontractors
Record Correspondence - DeleteAllows the user to delete correspondence relating to their People. Needs to be used in conjunction with the Record Correspondence-Manage permission.
Record Correspondence - ManageHR Records page added to the People page menu. Allow user to view, add and edit correspondence relating to their people.
Subcontractor - DeleteAllow user to delete subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with Subcontractor-Edit permission or the Subcontractor-View permission.
Subcontractor - EditAllow user to view, add & edit subcontractors.  
Subcontractor - Manage Archived except DeletionAllow user to archive and unarchive subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with Subcontractor-Edit permission or the Subcontractor-View permission.
Subcontractor - Manage except Delete and ArchiveAllow user to  view, add, edit & convert subcontractors.
