HR ROLES

The standard roles typically provided in all new Lucidity system builds are as follows. These can be edited by system administrators as required.

To further understand the HR module, refer to the Lucidity HR user guide for more details.

Access Card - Edit

Will make the Access Card section in users HR profile visible.

Is used in conjunction with Lucidity OnSite. Allows the user to register the access card in HR using a NFC card reader. User can also enable and disable access cards that are used to gain access to sites.  This privilege needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other EDIT privileges.

Actions (All) - Create & Edit

ACTIONS added as a tab.  Allows user to view, create and edit all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu and the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.  

Actions (All) - Delete

Allows user to delete all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu or the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.  Needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other action privileges to function.

Actions (All) - View

ACTIONS added as a tab.  Allows user to view only all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu and the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Actions (My) - Create & Edit

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view, create and edit their own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Actions (My) - Delete

Allows user to delete their own actions from MY ACTIONS menu.  Needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other action privileges to function.

Casual - Add and Edit

Allow user to view, add & edit casuals.  

Casual - Archive

Allow user to archive and unarchive casuals. Needs to be used in conjunction with Casual-Edit privilege or the Casual-View privilege.

Casual - Delete

Allow user to delete casuals. Needs to be used in conjunction with Casual-Edit privilege or the Casual-View privilege.

Allow user to view, edit & convert casuals.

Allow user to view all current and archived casuals.

Column Configuration

Allows the user to configure columns. Restrict access, as any change to columns impacts all users.

Employees - Add and Edit

Allow the user to view, add & edit employees.  

Employees - Archive

Allow user to archive and unarchive employees. Needs to be used in conjunction with Employees-Edit privilege or the Employees-View privilege.

Employees - Delete

Allow user to delete employees. Needs to be used in conjunction with Employee-Edit privilege or the Employee-View privilege.

Allow user to view, edit & convert employees.

Allow user to view all current and archived employees.

Employment Period - Delete

Allows the user to delete employment periods relating to their people. Needs to be used in conjunction with the Employment Periods-Manage privilege.

Employment Periods page added to the People page menu. Allow user to view, add and edit periods of employment for their people.

Employment Review - Delete

Allow user to delete employment reviews relating to their people. Needs to be used in conjunction with the Employment Review-Manage privilege.

Employment Review - Manage

Employment Reviews page added to the People page menu. Allows the user to view, add and edit reviews of their people.

HR Review

Allow user to view employees, casuals & subcontractors. Will also allow the user to view a list  of the employment periods, employment reviews & correspondence for any person (the user will not be able to open these records). Employment Periods, Employment Reviews & HR Records will appear on the People page menu.

Manage Own Details

Allow user to view and edit own personal details, such as next of kin, residential address and contact details. User can also reset their own password. User will also be able to view business details such as their org structure, payroll number and their manager, but will not be able to edit this information. The user will not have access to any sensitive data.

Manage Tools

Access to the Settings tab. Allow user to view, add, edit and delete the managed lists that are used in the HR Module.

Merge Accounts

Allows the user to merge HR user profiles. Needs to be used in conjunction with edit or view privileges.

People - Add and Edit

Allows user to view, add & edit employees, casuals & subcontractors.  

People - Bulk Change

Allows user to bulk delete, bulk archive and bulk archive user accounts.

People - Delete

Will allow the user to delete employees, casuals & subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with People-Edit privilege or the People-View privilege.

People - Edit and Convert

Allow user to view, edit & convert employees, casuals & subcontractors.  

People - Manage Archived

Allow user to archive and unarchive employees, casuals & subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with People-Edit privilege or the People-View privilege.

People - View

Allow user to view all current and archived employees, casuals & subcontractors

Record Correspondence - Delete

Allows the user to delete correspondence relating to their People. Needs to be used in conjunction with the Record Correspondence-Manage privilege.

Record Correspondence - Manage

HR Records page added to the People page menu. Allow user to view, add and edit correspondence relating to their people.

Report Emailing Administrator

Allows user to select email addresses, other than their own, for Email Reporting. A user will still be able to create Email Reports without this privilege, but the reports can only be sent to their registered email address.

Subcontractor - Add and Edit

Allow user to view, add & edit subcontractors.  

Subcontractor - Archive

Allow user to archive and unarchive subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with Subcontractor-Edit privilege or the Subcontractor-View privilege.

Subcontractor - Delete

Allow user to delete subcontractors. Needs to be used in conjunction with Subcontractor-Edit privilege or the Subcontractor-View privilege.

Subcontractor - Edit and Convert

Allow user to view, edit & convert subcontractors.  

Subcontractor - View

Allow user to view all current and archived subcontractors
