Lucidity Competency: Linking to Lucidity Induction for eLearning

Lucidity Induction can be linked to Lucidity Competency to enable the completion of eLearning. When this is configured, users can log into Lucidity Competency using their Payroll number and Date of Birth (recorded in Lucidity HR) and undertake online training. Upon completion of training, a Record is automatically entered into Lucidity Competency, and any existing Needs are set to complete.

In order to set up Lucidity Induction and Lucidity Competency to work in this manner, the following steps are needed:

  1. Create a Capability within Lucidity Competency
  2. Create a Training Course within Lucidity Induction, complete with presentations and assessment as required. The Course can have one or more Modules.

    Note
    titleNaming Conventions

For best practice and to limit confusion, it is recommended that the Capability title within Lucidity Competency and the Module name within Lucidity Induction are the same.

See the Lucidity Induction User Guide for full details on creating Training Courses.

  3. Link the previously created Capability within Lucidity Competency to the module in Lucidity Induction. This can be done in two ways
    1. From the Course page within Lucidity Induction:

    2. Or from the Capabilities page in Lucidity Competency:

Lucidity Induction can now be used for the delivery of eLearning for the Capability selected.

In order for an Employee to undertake the eLearning, the following steps are required:

  1. Either from the Needs page or via a Role, admin creates a Need for the Employee which corresponds to the eLearn Capability
  2. Employee logs in to Lucidity Competency via the Employee login screen using their Payroll Number and Date of Birth
  3. Employee lands on the Online Training page, where a list of their required eLearning training will be displayed
  4. Employee clicks ‘Start Training’ to commence an eLearn and follows the instructions to complete the module and any assessment as required
  5. Upon successful completion, a Record is automatically created within Lucidity Competency for the Capability. The Need within Lucidity Competency is closed, and the item is removed from the Online Training menu for the Employee
  6. The Employee can view the Record and generated receipt via their Training History page
