Changes to End-Users
Changes to system settings will affect all end-users. Once set, the banner, login splash back, PDF banner, User card logo and theme are rarely changed once set. For the changes to be viewed, end-users may need to log out and sign back in again.
For more instructions on types and settings for images to be uploaded, refer to Uploading/Managing Files guide.
From the Branding page, adjust the branding as required.
Banner (inc PDF Banner + User Cards)
The banner is the image that sits at the top of every module and page within Lucidity Software, appears in the module switcher and will be seen by all end users. It is generally the organisation's logo and the same logo is used in all places.
Note that the text that accompanies the logo in each instance (ie - the module name) is generated by Lucidity, and is not part of the image. The font and size of the text is fixed.
The PDF banner sits at the top of printed PDFs from InForm, print receipts from Induction and various other locations.
The User Card logo is used when printing NFC cards for a user from Lucidity HR. The logo appears in the top left hand corner of the card and may be the same as the logo used for the system and the PDF banners.
Image Requirements
The following describes the requirements for the uploaded image:
Image format | .png with transparent background |
Minimum image height (pixels) | 300 px (minimum) |
Aspect ratio | Not to exceed 5:1 (1500 pixels max width for 300 pixel height) |
Transparent images will always look best. This is one of many free tools that can be used to make images transparent.
The login splash back is the background image displayed to end-users on the log in page, regardless of selected module. The image will scale to fit the current screen size. The Lucidity cloud splash is illustrated in the example below.
Splash Back Requirements
The following specification should be used as a minimum when selecting a background image to avoid excessive pixelation.
Image format | .jpg or .png |
Image height (pixels) | 1200 px (minimum) |
Image width (pixels) | 1800 px (minimum) |
