Lucidity Competency: Linking to Lucidity Induction for eLearning

Lucidity Induction can be linked to Lucidity Competency to enable the completion of eLearning. When this is configured, users can log into Lucidity Competency using their Payroll number and Date of Birth (recorded in Lucidity HR) and undertake online training. Upon completion of training, a Record record is automatically entered into Lucidity Competency, and any existing Needs needs are set to complete.

In order to set up Lucidity Induction and Lucidity Competency to work in this manner, the following steps are needed:

  1. Create a Capability within Lucidity Competencycapability within Lucidity Competency. See the Competency Capabilities page in the Lucidity Competency User Guide for details.
  2. Create a Training Course training course within Lucidity Induction, complete with presentations and assessment as required. The Course course can have one or more Modulesmodules. See the Induction Courses page in the Lucidity Induction User Guide for details.

    For best practice and to limit confusion, it is recommended that the Capability capability title within Lucidity Competency and the Module course name within Lucidity Induction are the same.

  3. Link the previously created Capability capability within Lucidity Competency to the module course in Lucidity Induction. This can be done in two ways:

Lucidity Induction can now be used for the delivery of eLearning for the Capability capability selected within Lucidity Competency

In order for an Employee a user to undertake the eLearning, the following steps are required:

  1. Either from A need must exist for the user, either created manually via the Needs page or via as part of a Role, admin creates a Need for the Employee which corresponds to the eLearn Capability Employee logs in to Competency Role
  2. The user can then logs into Lucidity Competency via the Employee login screen using their Payroll Number and Date of BirthEmployee Competency login screen or via a link from another application
  3. The user will lands on the Online Training page, where a list of their required eLearning training will be displayed
  4. Employee clicks The user can now click ‘Start Training’ to commence an eLearn and follows and follow the instructions to complete the module course and any assessment as required
  5. Upon successful completionOnce successfully completed, a Record record is automatically created within Lucidity Competency for the Capabilitycapability. The Need need within Lucidity Competency is closed, and the item is removed from the Online Training menu for the Employeeuser
  6. The Employee user can view the Record and record, generated a receipt and view the course again via their Training History page
