Creating / Resetting Passwords

End users can create or reset their password for their Lucidity account.  In order for end users to complete this task they must have a valid email address in Lucidity.

Follow these steps to reset a password:

  1. Access the organisation's Lucidity Software login page

     

  2. Click the link "Forgotten password?"

  3. Enter either:

    1. Lucidity Username or

    2. Email address

  4. Click "Request Password Reset" 

     

  5. Lucidity will send an email with instructions  

  6. Note the Username that is listed in the email and click the link to reset the password

  7. The following screen will be displayed:

     

  8. Enter a new password in both boxes and click "Change Password".  

  9. Upon returning to the Login screen (as shown in step 1 above) enter Username and the newly created Password to login. 

Note: Lucidity Software enforces Strong Password requirements

Given the sensitive nature of information contained in the Lucidity Software system, we maintain the following password requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters

  • at least 1 uppercase character (A-Z)

  • at least 1 lowercase character (a-z)

  • at least 1 digit (0-9)

  • at least 1 special character

  • password cannot be the same as the username

  • cannot reuse any old password
