Managing User Accounts

INTRODUCTION
The User menu consists of all the users in the entire system, including all self-registered users in Lucidity Induction who may not appear in other Lucidity modules.
User Menu
Users can be created and their access role permissions managed within Lucidity Access, which is included in each installation of Lucidity Software. Allocation of varying levels of roles, permissions and scoping can be applied to retain system security.
Edit Users
To edit a user's account, from the User page:
Use filters as required to locate the relevant user
Note if an account can't be located, it may be locked or archived
Search for locked accounts using the 'Locked Accounts' filter
Search for archived accounts from the Archived page
Click 'Edit' to the far rightÂ

Adjust fields as required
Click 'Save' to keep the changes
Copy Users

Copying users is a useful function and can save administrators time when it comes to assigning access roles and scoping permissions. A common approach is to create template users for the typical user types, such as general user, manager, contractor representative etc and then copy these details for new system users.
To copy a user, from the User page:
Use Filters as required to locate the relevant user
Click 'Actions' to the far rightÂ
Click 'Copy'

Edit the newly created account as required
Click 'Save'
Reporting

There are several reports available from the Access User page.Â
To generate a report, from the User page:
Use Filters as required to locate the relevant user
All results will be displayed at the bottom of the screen
Click the report type required to generate the report into Excel

Excel Export | A basic list report of user information Rows: Users Columns: Information about each user such as username, log in dates etc  |
Matrix Export | A matrix export showing the Access roles assigned to users Rows: Users Columns: Access Roles |
Scope Export | A list report showing the organisational scoping assigned to users Rows: Users Columns: Information about each users scoping including the module and the value of organisations |
