COMPETENCY ROLES

The standard roles typically provided in all new Lucidity system builds are as follows. These can be edited by system administrators as required.

To further understand the Competency module, refer to the Lucidity Competency user guide for more details.

Actions (All) - Create & Edit

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view, create and edit all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu and the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.  

Actions (All) - Delete

Allows user to delete all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu or the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu. Needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other action privileges to function.

Actions (All) - View

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view only all actions from ALL ACTIONS menu and the user's own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Actions (My) - Create & Edit

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows user to view, create and edit their own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Actions (My) - Delete

Allows user to delete their own actions from MY ACTIONS menu. Needs to be used in conjunction with one of the other action privileges to function.

Actions (My) - View

ACTIONS added as a tab. Allows the user to view their own actions from the MY ACTIONS menu.

Administration - Archive

Allows user to archive Capabilities. Any Needs or Records associated with this capability will also be archived automatically. This needs to be used in conjunction with Capabilities-View privilege to function, otherwise it will only display those capabilities that are already archived and users will only be able to unarchive records.

Administration - Column Configuration

Allows user to configure columns. Restrict Access, as any change to columns impacts all users.

Administration - Modify Settings

SETTINGS added as a tab and a set of Competency Managed Lists will appear within the vertical menu. Allows user to add, edit and delete the Managed Lists. Access to the PROVIDER Managed List is controlled with a separate privilege.

Administration - Report Emailing Administrator

Allows user to select email addresses, other than their own, for Email Reporting. A user will still be able to create Email Reports without this privilege, but the reports can only be sent to their registered email address.

REPORT added to vertical menu under CAPABILITIES tab. Allows user access to a suite of Competency reports.

Capabilities - Manage

Allows user to view, add, edit, copy, delete, archive and view capabilities. The DELETE function will only allow the user to reassign a capability to another. The system will not allow you to delete a capability.

Capabilities - View

Allows user to view capabilities.

Dashboard - Modify Dashboard

Allows user to add Dashboards using a template or create own Dashboards. User can then view, edit, and delete Dashboards and manage Dashboard content. Dashboards created by a user cannot be shared with another user.

Dashboard - Read-only Access

Allows user to access their Dashboard, but they will not be able to edit, add or remove widgets. The user's dashboard(s) must be set up by the Administrator. The Administrator would temporarily apply the Widget privileges to the user, log in as that user, set up the Dashboard(s); and then remove the Widget privileges.

Dashboard - Template Manager

Allows user to create, edit, and delete Dashboard Templates that can be utilised by other users to create their own Dashboards.

Needs - Bulk Change

BULK CHANGE button will appear on NEEDS page. Allows user to delete or update needs in bulk. 

Needs - Delete

Allows user to delete Needs that have been created manually. Needs created via a Role cannot be deleted as they would be re-created.

Needs - Manage

Allows user to view, add, and edit Needs.

Needs - View all

Allows user to view training Needs for employees, subcontractors or casuals. Adds Excel Reports

Needs - View Casuals

Allows the user to view training Needs for casuals only.

Needs - View Employee

Allows the user to view training Needs for employees only.

Needs - View Subcontractor

Allows the user to view training Needs for subcontractors only.

People - Edit Casual

Allows the user to add Competency Roles to a Casual.

People - Edit Employee

Allows the user to add Competency Roles to an Employee.

People - Edit Subcontractor

Allows the user to add Competency Roles to a Subcontractor.

People - Manage All

Allows the user to add Competency Roles to Employees, Casuals and Subcontractors. Adds Excel Reports

Providers - Manage

SETTINGS added as a tab and TRAINER/PROVIDERS will be available to choose from the  vertical menu. Allows user to view; add; edit and delete Training Providers. Any user who has the Capabilities-Manage privilege will also be able to view and add Training Providers, but only when adding or editing a capability.

Providers - View

SETTINGS added as a tab and TRAINER/PROVIDERS will be available to choose from the vertical menu. Allows user to view Training Providers only. Any user who has the Capabilities-Manage privilege will also be able to view and add Training Providers, but only when adding or editing a capability.

Records - Bulk Change

BULK CHANGE button will appear on RECORDS page. Allows user to delete; lapse or update records in bulk.

Records - Delete

Allows the user to delete training records. Needs to be used in conjunction with Records-View privilege or the Records-Manage All privilege to function

Records - Manage All

Allows user to view, add, and edit records for employees, subcontractors or casuals. Adds Excel Reports

Records - Review/approve Tickets

Allows user to approve tickets that have been submitted via the validation process (a user with the Self-Management Submit tickets OR a user with the Records - Submit tickets for others privilege) This privilege will also allow user to view records and needs of people. 

Records - Submit tickets for others

Allows users to submit tickets on behalf of other users. The submitted ticket will remain PENDING until approved by a user with the Records - Review/approve tickets privilege. This privilege will also allow user to view records and needs of people. 

Records - View All

Allows user to view training records for employees, subcontractors or casuals.

Records - View Casual Employee

Allows the user to view training records for casuals only.

Records - View Employee

Allows the user to view training records for employees only.

Records - View Subcontractor

Allows the user to view training records for subcontractors only.

Roles - Configure Default Roles

Allows user to select roles for automatic allocation to employees, subcontractors or casuals at the time they are added to the HR Module. Allocating these Roles will generate Training Needs for these people.

Roles - Manage

ROLES added as a tab. Allows user to view, create, copy, edit or delete Competency Roles.  

Roles - View

ROLES added as a tab. Allows user to view the roles. The user will see the capabilities associated with the role & the people allocated. 

Self Management - Complete Induction

MY TRAINING added as a tab. Will display user training history and e-learns they need to complete.

Self Management - Submit Tickets

MY TICKETS page under the My Training tab added. Will display a list of tickets the user needs to self-manage. The submitted ticket will remain PENDING until approved by a user with the Records - Review/approve tickets privilege.
